Trevor Isaac, a 'Namgis artist was born and raised in Alert Bay, BC, a native fishing village located on Cormorant Island.

The Kwakwaka'wakw culture and traditions are deeply rooted in him through his life long participation in potlatches, feasts, dancing and singing. As well as attending these events he also lends a hand in the organization of them, creating designs for: dance screens, buttons blankets, aprons and head pieces.

Trevor has been drawing Native designs most of his life with tutoring from accomplished artists, family and friends from whom he learned the principles of design.
